In the event that a surviving family member is not 100% satisfied with any aspect of the Dignity Memorialä service you selected, your Dignity Memorial service provider will make every effort to correct the situation immediately. If the situation cannot be corrected, your family will receive a full refund for that portion of the service. This is our promise of your family's satisfaction.
With Dignity Memorial, the service you select is fully transferable and will be honored by any Dignity Memorial service provider within our network of more than 1500 funeral homes throughout the United States and Canada. If you move, and your new address is more than 75 miles from your current place of residence and your Dignity Memorial service provider, your Dignity Memorial Plan moves with you. If there is no Dignity Memorial service provider in the area to which you move, we will use our best efforts to find another service provider to honor the guaranteed price.
The Compassion Helpline is a service offered through Dignity Memorial service providers to help those in grief. It gives you somewhere to turn for help, especially if those who normally support us, like clergy, family or friends are unavailable.
The Compassion Helpline is a 24-hour-a-day, 365-days-a-year counseling resource. It is staffed at all times by licensed professionals specially trained in grief counseling. All staff members have advanced degrees, whether Ph.D.s or Masters in Social Work (MSWs). By calling the toll-free number, you can talk at any time, night and day, to professionally trained counselors who will support and guide you through this difficult time of grief.
The Compassion Helpline is free to immediate family members (spouse, siblings, children) and significant others. It is available for up to one year after the time of death, and may be used in conjunction with Hospice services as well.
Finally, the Compassion Helpline counselors maintain a network of therapists and support groups for which individual appointments can be arranged (at your own expense) should face-to-face counseling be desired.
The Dignity Memorial Compassion Helpline number is 1-800-480-1234
